I can’t quite believe I’m writing this… but I’ve been nominated for three Heart & Soul Awards!
💙 Female Fitness Instructor UK
💙 Regional Instructor East Midlands
💙 Mental Health Advocate UK
Honestly, I’m still taking it all in! These awards recognise people in the fitness industry who make a difference—not just in physical health but in mental well-being, confidence, and community too. And that’s exactly why I do what I do.
Why This Means So Much
Big Bums and Little Bums was never just about fitness classes. It’s about creating a space where everyone feels welcome, supported, and celebrated—whether they’re joining for a sweaty workout, a laugh, or just a bit of time for themselves.
Movement is powerful, and so is having a community that lifts you up. From Walkfit and dance sessions to my menopause talks and community walks, I’ve always wanted to make fitness something people look forward to, rather than something they feel they should do.
To be recognised for that—especially for the Mental Health Advocate UK award—means more
than I can say.
What Happens Next?
The awards ceremony takes place on Saturday, July 5th, in Aberdeen, and voting will open soon! (I’ll be sure to shout about it when it does!)
For now, I just want to say a massive THANK YOU. Whether you’ve been to a class, joined a walk, sent a message of support, or just been part of this incredible community—you’re the reason I do this.
Here’s to moving, smiling, and lifting each other up!
💙 Sarah xx
