Our first Melton Menopause Café of 2025 was a truly uplifting and inspiring evening, setting the tone for a year of self-care and community. We were thrilled to welcome Sarah Marriott from Let’s Relax Holistic Therapies as our guest speaker. Sarah’s expertise in aromatherapy brought fresh ideas for how essential oils can support women during peri-menopause and menopause.
Throughout the evening, we explored a range of practical and relaxing techniques, including:
Self-massage and aromatherapy baths to ease sore muscles and joints
Compresses to help manage hot flushes, headaches, and perineal discomfort
Breathwork to promote deep relaxation and improve sleep
Sarah encouraged us to embrace these small but powerful practices in our daily lives, making self-care more accessible and enjoyable.
One of the most memorable moments of the night was the group guided breathwork session. The shared experience created a strong sense of energy and connection in the room, leaving everyone feeling relaxed and recharged.
Feedback from attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, with many already incorporating Sarah’s techniques into their routines. It was a wonderful way to start the year, and we’re excited to continue growing this supportive community together.
